Best Local Authority Initiative award
The Energy awards celebrate the very best achievements in the energy sector attracting major organisations from both public and private arenas. Nottingham City Council’s Energy Services won the prestigious Best Local Authority Initiative award for their Smart Energy Buildings initiative.
Best Renewable or Energy Efficiency Award
The Association for Public Service Excellence (APSE) awards, celebrate outstanding achievement and innovation within local government. Energy Services received the Best Renewable or Energy Efficiency Award in recognition of their innovative approach to reducing the council’s energy demand.
Innovation of the Year
The UK Housing Awards (Chartered Institute of Housing & Inside Housing), showcase the very best the sector has to offer. The Innovation award was given in recognition of Nottingham City Homes’ (supported by Energy Services) pioneering approach to improving energy inefficiency.
Innovation in Property and Asset Management
The MJ Awards. The local Government Achievement Awards celebrate the best in the best local government services. NCC’s Energy Services where high recommended in the Innovation in Property and Asset Management category being recognised for their Greener Buildings Strategy.
Best Commercial Energy Project
The Clean Energy Awards recognise innovation and best practice in the field of renewable and clean energy and attract nominations from the UK'S the biggest and most successful businesses. NCC's LED lighting upgrade at Wollaton Hall won the award for Best Commercial Energy Project.
Most Proactive Public Sector
The Green Energy Awards honour organisations who have shown innovation, dedication and creative ingenuity enabling the transformation to clean, smart and flexible energy. The City Council won the most proactive public sector organisation award.
